Kiwanis International:
In addition to serving as Key Club International Trustee in high school, Kevin has been involved at the international level of the organization as a Kiwanian. At the 1996 Kiwanis International Convention in Salt Lake City, Kevin served on the Credentials Committee, assisting with the election process for the convention. In 1998-99, he served on the international committee for Children’s Miracle Network, helping to set the direction for that Kiwanis program. Kevin also assisted with a forum presentation at the 1997 International Convention.
He was awarded a George F. Hixson award through the Kiwanis International Foundation in 1995. He is also a member of the International Foundation Heritage Society, and has worked at the International Foundation Booth at two Kiwanis International Conventions.
Over the years, Kevin has attended 13 Kiwanis, 9 Key Club, and 4 Circle K International Conventions.
All of these experiences have broadened Kevin’s perspective on our organization. He feels Kiwanis’ impact goes beyond the local club, division, and district. He has contacts in many other districts around the world, which provides him with diverse ideas and perspectives.
