Service to our Community
Kiwanians have a heart for service in our communities and around the world. The Kiwanis Club of Normal serves our community in many different ways throughout the year. From cleaning up Constitution Trail to sorting food at the Midwest Food Bank, we love to serve and have fun while doing it.

The Kiwanis Club of Normal provides community service and volunteer opportunities by partnering with non-profit and civic organizations that seek to make our community and the world a better place.  We have regular service activities with the following organization (just to name a few):  Special Olympics of Illinois, Midwest Food Bank, The Baby Fold, Challenger Learning Center, Easter Seal’s Camp Timber Point, Boys & Girls Club, The Haitian Christian Outreach, ISU Circle K, University High School Key Club and Trinity Catholic School Builder’s Club.  At the Kiwanis Club of Normal, we are Serving the Children of Central Illinois & the World™.

The highlight of our involvement with the Challenger Learning Center culminated with a comedy-murder mystery dinner titled “Murder at the Haunted Hangar.”  This year marked our innagrual event, which generated over $10,000.00 in revenue all benefiting the community asset.  To learn more about the Challenger Learning Center, please visit:  www.challengerlearningcenter.com.
