Interested in changing the lives of children locally and around the world? Check out this short Q&A to learn more about becoming a Kiwanian.
What should I do first?
Try coming to a service project, club meeting or a social event. By stopping by you will quickly learn two things: #1 we LOVE to have fun and #2 each of us desires to make a difference in our community.
What’s next?
Read more about us; explore this website or download a brochure. If you’d like more information, swing by the website for Kiwanis International or contact us. We would love to answer any questions you might have!
Still interested? Great!
Next time you are at a meeting or service project, request a membership application. It will take no more than five minutes to fill out. Once you’re done we send it to the club Board of Directors for approval (don’t worry, in 20 years we’ve never turned anyone away!).
Is there a cost?
Each member is asked to pay a monthly dues fee of $20. This money pays for our meeting space, your continental breakfast at meetings and a couple of other items.
What is the time commitment?
The amount of time you commit is completely up to you. The typical member commits about four hours a month to club activities (attending about two meetings a month and participating in two hours of service). You can be involved more or less than that; it is all up to you.
